Cookie and device-storage policy

Cookies are small text records stored by a website in your browser. Local storage performs a similar function on your device. We use both only for the purposes described below.

• jc_admin_session keeps authorised Just Celebrate team members signed in for up to seven days.
• jc_vendor_session keeps an authorised vendor signed in for up to 14 days.

These secure, HTTP-only cookies are necessary for requested account access and cannot be used by page scripts. Signing out clears the relevant cookie.

• jc-saved-vendors remembers the vendor shortlist on that device;
• jc-enquiry-draft keeps an unfinished enquiry on that device until it is sent or cleared;
• jc-install-dismissed remembers when the add-to-phone prompt was dismissed; and
• jc-visitor-key is a random identifier used to count visits and marketplace interactions without storing your name or email in the analytics record.

These items stay on the device until the browser or user clears them, except where the interface removes them after completion.

Our current analytics are first-party and limited to site visits, listing appearances, profile views, saved vendors, enquiry selections and vendor logins. They help us operate and improve the marketplace. We do not use this information to build advertising profiles or follow users across unrelated websites.

You can clear cookies and site data using your browser settings. Clearing local storage removes saved vendors, unfinished enquiries, install preferences and the random visitor identifier from that device. Blocking necessary session cookies will prevent admin or vendor sign-in from working.

If we introduce non-essential advertising or third-party tracking technologies, we will update this policy and provide any consent controls required by law before using them.
